New Features & Improvements:

WhatsApp Authentication Now Available

Does your driver sometimes not receive an SMS? No worries, we now have a solution. You can now enable WhatsApp authentication for your drivers, so they can receive their OTP code more reliably and no longer have to worry about missing the code.

This is an opt-in feature, so you can choose to activate it for your drivers starting today. To make the process even easier, drivers can also use a copy button for the code and clearly see when the OTP has expired.

• The application is now available in dark mode, which can be enabled from the settings.
• Drivers can now receive authentication codes via WhatsApp. This is an opt-in feature. Drivers or company user can update their preferred authentication method to ensure OTP codes are always received.

Flexible Transport Cost Updates

This release also brings more flexibility to bulk transport cost management. Users can now update transport costs in bulk from both the Transports Overview and Transport Planning pages. It is possible to update all costs, only base costs, only additional costs, or add new additional costs without overwriting existing values. Customer costs can also be protected to prevent automatic system overwrites.

These improvements give planning and operations teams more control over pricing updates while reducing manual work and the risk of unwanted changes, especially when managing larger transport volumes.

• Companies can now choose which fields to display on the Create Transport page, as well as their positions. This can be configured separately for transport fields and waypoint fields.

• Bulk transport cost updates
  • Users can now protect customer costs to prevent them from being overwritten by the system.

Location Cost Controls Location costs can now be configured per customer and supplier. The location cost are automatically applied to orders and transports when a location is changed. You also have the flexibility to disable location costs for individual customers or suppliers in their detail pages.

A location can now include a list of costs for both the customer and supplier.

We’ve rolled out a new set of updates focused on making weekly purchasing faster and improving how tolls are applied to supplier pricing. Weekly Purchase Orders (by truck) + upgraded PDF You can now manage purchase orders per week with better visibility and control:

• View weekly orders per supplier, grouped by truck
• Set and calculate empty-km pricing, km price, and toll costs
• Adjust and lock the order sequence per truck
• Generate weekly purchase orders for all supplier trucks in one action

Use the redesigned PDF: orders per truck (in your selected sequence), waypoint cost overview, truck-level summaries, and a full-week summary You’ll find this in the Weekly Purchase Orders area, and you can regenerate the PDF anytime from Purchase Order details.

Supplier toll settings (with disable option) Supplier prices now support a dedicated toll configuration:

Choose which tolls are added to an order (aligned with customer tariff toll settings)

Disable toll costs entirely for supplier pricing when needed This is available directly in Supplier Prices under the new toll settings.

How does it work?

Do you have a trip for which you can’t immediately find a solution? You can easily list it on CoMarket.
From Transport Overview, you can select one or more trips and then click ‘Add to CoMarket’.
You can enter a price and/or add a comment to provide additional information.
A company interested in your uploaded trip can contact you by email or phone.

Send Emails from Your Own Domain via SMTP in Trans-IT

Previously, Trans-IT used our mailbox to send documents and quotes to your customers. It is of course much more personal that this can be done with your own domain name.
In this article, we explain how you can send emails from your own domain name using SMTP.

How it works?

SMTP is the standard protocol used worldwide to send emails between email servers. By adding your SMTP configuration in Trans-IT, we can use your email server to send messages as if they were sent directly by you.

You only need to add your SMTP settings in Trans-IT – from then on, we’ll make sure your emails are sent from your own address.

TAR & TAS codes at DP World and PSA are sometimes a frustration for container carriers!

Every container transport company that regularly has to pick up or deliver sea containers in the port of Antwerp knows the main frustrations and stress moments. Obtaining a time slot to gain access to the specific quay where they have to load or unload. DP World uses TAR (Terminal Appointment Request) and TAS (Terminal Appointment System) codes to manage container appointments at their terminals. These codes are used to plan and manage the collection and delivery of containers. But obtaining such a time slot is often a hellish task.
